A 60-minute session with Dr. Cody Rall, MD

You bought the device. Nobody ever told you if it was working.

Get your brain mapped, then sit down with a psychiatrist who reads the map with you and writes you a plan you can actually follow.

Applied in full toward the 8-Week Program if you continue.

For people who already own a Muse, a Vielight, a Sensai or a Neurable — and want to stop guessing whether any of it is doing anything.

From people who did this

What changed for them.

"I really wouldn't have invested in a device if I didn't have someone guiding me through it who knew what they were doing. It would have been hopeless. I'm glad I did it."

— N., week 8

"I feel calmer. I feel less reactive. It's like I can handle stuff better — I don't sweat the small stuff. It's not like I'm a new person. The old me is still here."

— P., week 7

"Dr. Rall's knowledge and techniques are at the leading edge of human performance. Learn from him or get left behind."

— Dustin Cordier, President, JetAVIVA

These are individual experiences reported by clients in a coaching program. They are not typical results, not measured outcomes, and not a promise of what will happen for you.

What actually happens

Four steps, about four weeks, start to finish.

1

We ship you the sensor you're missing

A small sensor — the Myndlift auxiliary electrode — that clips onto the Muse headband you already own and turns it into a full brainwave recording setup. Takes about ten minutes, and we walk you through it.

Don't own a Muse yet? You'll need one before your scan — the Muse S Athena is the one I'd buy today, and my discount takes 20% off automatically. Order it when you book and it'll beat your electrode to the door.

2

You record your brain map at home

Eyes open, eyes closed, and while doing a task. About twenty minutes, in your own kitchen, no appointment, no lab. That recording becomes a color map of your brain's electrical activity — where it runs hot, where it runs quiet, and how quickly it moves between the two.

3

We sit down together for a full hour

I go through the map with you on screen, in plain English. No acronyms, no Greek letters — I'll show you what I'm looking at and tell you what I'd do if it were my own brain. You leave the call with a written plan: which settings to run, how often, at what time of day, and what to watch for.

4

Two and a half weeks later, we talk again

This is the part most people never get. You run the plan for seventeen days, then we get back on a call and I ask you what happened. What felt different, what didn't, what you skipped. Then we adjust. A plan you never revisit is a guess with better packaging.

If this sounds familiar

You're doing everything right and you still can't tell if it's working.

You take the supplements. You do the meditation. You put on the headset most mornings. Maybe you've been at it nine months.

And if someone asked you point blank whether it has changed anything — you couldn't answer honestly. You'd say "I think so." You'd hope so.

Meanwhile the thing that actually brought you here hasn't gone away:

  • The word that will not come. Usually a name, usually in front of people.
  • Three in the morning, wide awake, up for half an hour, then dragging all day.
  • The mental fog that lifts by ten and comes back after lunch.
  • Everything in the room getting in — no ability to tune anything out.
  • A shorter fuse than the one you used to have.

"I don't feel like anything is worth anything without my brain working."

— B., 70, retired business owner, before his first session

You are not short on effort or information. You are short on measurement. Nobody has ever shown you what your own brain is actually doing while you train it.

The honest version

Right now you're training in the dark.

Not because the gear is bad. Most of it is good. But every device you own ships with the same preset list it ships to everyone else, and your brain is not everyone else's.

One of my clients — 81, sharp as a tack — owns a brain red light therapy device, the kind you wear on your head. He ran it on the same setting, 40 Hz gamma, six days a week for nine months. At our first session he told me: "I haven't noticed anything. I don't feel anything when I do it."

He wasn't doing it wrong. He was running a setting that didn't suit his brain, and there was no way for him to know that, because nobody was measuring.

That's the whole problem this session solves. Not more tech. A reading, and someone qualified to tell you what to do about it.

Who you're sitting down with

Dr. Cody Rall, MD

Cody Rall, MD

Psychiatrist. Eight years in the US Navy. I review brain technology on YouTube — you may already know me from there — and I coach people through actually using it.

I have read thousands of these maps. More importantly, I've run a structured eight-week program where clients scanned their brains three times a week, before and after every single session, changing one variable at a time. Over forty people. That is where the plan I write for you comes from — not from a manufacturer's preset list.

What I don't do: I don't sell you a device and I'm not your doctor. This is coaching. If something in your reading looks like a question for your own physician, I'll tell you that plainly and send you to them.

Before you book

What this session will not do.

I'd rather lose the sale than have you show up expecting the wrong thing.

  • This is not a medical evaluation. I'm not examining you, I'm not diagnosing anything, and this doesn't make me your doctor. It's a wellness and performance coaching session built around a measurement.
  • The map doesn't tell you what's wrong with you. It tells you what your brainwave activity is doing. Those are different things, and anyone who tells you otherwise is overselling.
  • Nobody can promise you'll feel better in two weeks. What I can tell you is that you'll know more about your own brain than you did, and you'll be running a setting chosen from your readings instead of a factory default.
  • You have to actually do the thing. The clients who got the most out of this used their session as a primer and then did something with it — training, focused work, meditation. The ones who treated it as something that happens to them got the least.

Questions

The ones I get asked most.

Do I need to already own equipment?

You need a Muse headband — the Muse 2, Muse S, and Muse S Athena all work. We ship you the Myndlift auxiliary electrode that pairs with it, and that's included in your price.

If you don't have a headband yet, you can get 20% off a Muse through my discount — it applies automatically at checkout: choosemuse.com/codyrallmd

I want to talk about Vielight brain red light therapy.

Great — let's look at your baseline, then your before-and-after measurements, and see whether it's actually moving your brainwave activity. That's exactly the kind of question this session is built to answer.

And if you want to go further, the price of this consult is applied toward our 8-Week NeuroPro2 program.

How long does the whole thing take?

About four weeks from booking to your session. Most of that is your electrode reaching you and you finding twenty minutes to record — the recording itself is quick. Your follow-up call then lands seventeen days after the session. Your actual time commitment across the whole thing is roughly three hours.

I'm 74. Is this going to be too technical for me?

No. My oldest client was 91. I don't use jargon on these calls — I show you the picture and tell you what I see, in the same words I'd use with my brother.

What if the brain map shows something concerning?

QEEG brain maps are not used to diagnose conditions, and we generally can't monitor for anything serious with these metrics. What they give you are performance measures.

Those are something you can absolutely bring to your physician, and I'll help you frame it properly. I don't diagnose or manage anything medical. That's a firm line, and it's there to protect you.

Is this covered by insurance?

No. This is a private coaching session, not a medical service, so there's nothing to bill.

What happens if I want to keep going afterward?

About a third of people do. The 8-Week Program is the deeper version — three scans a week, one variable changed at a time, and you finish with a written protocol built from your own data. Your $1,500 comes straight off the price, so you'd pay the difference and nothing more.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — full refund up to 48 hours before your appointment. If we've already shipped equipment, that cost comes out. Once I've started preparing your readout, we're past the refund window.

One session

Important. This is a wellness and educational brain-optimization coaching program. It is not a medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not establish a physician-patient relationship. QEEG readings reflect brainwave activity and are not a clinical diagnostic test. The devices and readings used here support healthy-lifestyle and cognitive-performance goals such as focus, mental clarity, and sleep quality by helping train and modulate brainwave activity — they are not used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Individual results vary, and the client experiences described on this page are individual reports, not typical or expected outcomes. Nothing here is medical advice or a substitute for care from your own licensed healthcare provider. Consult your physician about any health concern and before changing any medication or treatment.
